this was ok.  i liked the songs and the spectacle.  the crazy camera styles and big colors got a little tiring.  the unfortunate thing was that there wasn’t much funny in it.  and then as it got nearer the end it became obvious it was going where i’ve said before i don’t like comedies to go:  a place for everything and everything in its place.  i guess i felt short-changed on both parts of the claim ‘dark comedy’.
