another one where i don’t usually like the story arc, but liked this particular one. someone takes a look back at their life, sees their stubborness or whatever, goes through a catharsis, and ends the movie completely changed and better. i just hate how simple it makes it all seem. but this focuses more on the looking back i guess and ultimately the professor’s attempt at change is rejected by the son, so i appreciated that. the acting and staging is pretty theatrical in some parts, but the story picks its moments so well that that’s what i focused on and came away with.
Something to say?
