didn't like it

well this clinches it - i don’t like mel brooks.  other than rick moranis i don’t think i laughed at anything in this.  oh, except for the absurd ’spacebaaaals!’ song during the evacuation.  it reminded me of the weird song during planes, trains, and automobiles that looped steve martin saying ‘i’m a reasonable guy!’ or whatever.

    I really like the idea of Mel Brooks. There are lots of good scenes in Blazing Saddles. However, I when I watch his movies, I usually end up bored. Each movie maybe has one good scene or line that makes me feel like there is potential. I didn’t like Spaceballs much, but I do remember laughing a lot at the staff fighting scene in Robin Hood.
