at one point i was ready to like this movie. it goes from jailbreak to gangsters to zombies really quick. then it hits epic showdown and gets stuck there for an hour. if they could have wrapped up that part in about 20 minutes i might have liked it, but it was tough to get through. ultimately all i liked was the zombie gore which was really fast and well done. the camerawork was very evil dead-ish, flying around the forest and through wounds. but i couldn’t take how focused they were on making the charcters act cool. the score was all over the place, desperate. and their sense of humor was awful. knocking the girl out before every fight is funny?
