this was tough to get through but had a couple big redeeming moments. the non-piano musicians in green sequence was one. especially the part with those guys tethered to the beard while they choke the other guy - some kind of weird bondage imagery there. then the end when he’s foiling dr. t’s plan and they just go completely overboard with absurd sped-up sound effects. it goes on so long it’s kind of disturbing. but the top one is the ‘dress me’ song where he says he wants his ‘do me do duds’ and he’s going on a ‘do me do binge!’ while his young man-servants do indeed dress him.
i liked how they showed the real world playing out in the fantasy world in a very child-logical fashion. if the first real world part had been a bit more real and not so obvious in its distinctions it would have been a lot more interesting.











forgot to mention - mom sure wore some hot little numbers in the dreamworld. that blue half business suit half something - woo!
