i’m totally gnarly

watching this it just seemed like ‘no other god’ redux.  any theory as to why it’s ‘lord’s name in vain’ i’ve come up with has been quite a stretch, but fun to think about.  same issues here i didn’t like in the first one - when she lays out her predicament to the doctor it seemed more like they just copied a story pitch to dialogue verbatim.  then we have to get the doctor’s side and while i liked the picture turning, then they hammered it too hard i thought with his talk with barbara.

they also could have brought a little realism to the dr’s prognosis - he just says ‘yeah i don’t know it could go either way.’  just dress it up a little with some - ‘if the x and y do this, then good, if they do this then bad.’  they did look at slides later, but i wasn’t buying that the wife would accept ‘i dunno.’   in all it just seemed like outlines.
